Undeniable certainty,
Political calamity
Surrounds us this time every year
As pundits wag, words couched in fear,
On the verge of insanity.

“The sky is falling” down on me,
Political profanity,
Spun rhetoric that’s nowhere near
Undeniable.

The candidates square off to see
Political obscenity
Skewering opponents to sear
In public debate so we hear
One voice stand, inadvertently
Undeniable.
