In October and November 2023, I had the opportunity to visit China with seven other American artists. The objective was to produce four paintings each while in Wuhan and four more paintings during our travels to Xianning.

When we departed Wuhan, our art remained on display at the Hongxiang Artists Center gallery for two months. In Xianning, our paintings were exhibited at the Xianning Museum of Art for several months. These events were widely covered in the local press.

Our Xianning artwork was returned to the U.S. where it was on display at the Cupertino Civic Center in June 2024. We also received our Wuhan paintings, which were shown at a one-day exhibit in October 2024 at the Salada Beach Cafe in Pacifica. Click here for more information about the Salada Beach Cafe event.
