Windy Waves
Out upon ocean's golden deep,
Sailing on winds of the creator
Aboard swabbed decks of a freighter
Into sunset shimmers, to keep
Pallet colors merging as they seep
Into chilly waters that later
Become black ink, but now cater
To lighter lights that sensually creep
Into evening seas, then sweep
Swells across a bow that scatter
City shoes to dry stateroom laughter,
Salty, wet clothing in a heap.
Rolled, pitched, tossed upon waves,
Gather in a moment that love craves.
